WARP LIBRARY DIALOGUE

The WARP Library dialogue took place at g39, Cardiff’s contemporary artist-led gallery. In response to Sadia Pineda Hameed’s time working with the organisation, LUMIN considered the importance of archives and the implications of the self-defined ‘artist resource’. Taking g39’s own resource, WARP Library, as the space to meditate on this, Sadia curated a group of 6 artists, social practitioners and academics to give performative presentations on archives and the arts. From lost libraries in Iraq, to imagined planets undergoing colonialism, the artists each presented their thoughts in dialogue with the space itself.

Featured artists/collaborators:
LUMIN, Beau W Beakhouse, Sadia Pineda Hameed , Rabab Ghazoul, Radha Patel, Adeola Dewis, Sarah Younan
